Week 3 - Texture

I have neglected this project. The last time I worked on it was January; it’s now September. To get back into the swing of things, I chose Textures. The goal is to find subjects with interesting patterns and textures, get really close, and photograph the most interesting part. I gave myself one day to complete the challenge; a little time limit to up the stakes. I got seven photos from the day. I can’t say I’ve ever been interested in this kind of photography, but after this, I appreciate it more. It will be interesting to see how I use it in the future. One caveat, I don’t think I have the right lens to do this correctly. I couldn’t properly focus if I was too close, so ALL of these shots rely on extreme cropping. 6Sep2025
